I have noticed this happen a few times now. If i am watching a previously recorded program from the library, and a new recording begins at the same time, it causes the screen to lock up. This can only be cured by rebooting the verty using the switch at the back, which means that i lose some of the new recording.
Does this sound familiar to anybody else?
Thanks

I've only seen this once soon after I received the Verty, so I might have been on V1.003.

I've seen similar problems three times in the last couple of weeks, since loading the latest beta software.

Yep. I've seen it as well. Running 1.006. Very annoying.

This happened again last night, except we were watching a programme ending at 21:00, which was being recorded from the record list, with about 10 minutes timeslip.  There were two new scheduled recordings due to start at 21:00, one on the same channel as we were watching.  At 21:00 the Inverto claimed there were no available tuners, then went out of control.  Heavy disc activity, nothing in the library would play and couldn't turn off from the remote.  Recovered ok after a power cycle, but the the two new recordings were screwed of course.  This is a very annoying problem and would prevent me from recommending this unit at the moment.  Running the current beta-test software.

I have passed this and the other posts regarding this issue on to the engineers.

This is an urgent "bug" that is being investigated
