Just wondering, once you've returned your inverto to costco, how much will you have to spend to replace it with another wonderful Topfield, bearing in mind that you cannot at the moment get a replacement verty any more for from Boots for £45.

My Verty is coming up for 18 months old now with no loss of libraries and none of the problems you seem to be encountering. I'm guessing that my experience is the same as the majority on here as it tends to be only those with problems who seek out assistance.

For all our sakes gogsboy please do return the Verty then you won't have any reason to return to this forum.

Well to answer your question around £70 and for that I would be getting 250gb, fresh warranty and more importantly reliablilty and a machine or far superior quality in every field.

However if you had read closely, I do not want another Topfield, as soon we will be in one property therefore will not have the need for any other PVR than the one I have had for some time now.

But since my situation is not being helped at the moment I may be tempted to give one of the Humax 9200's a bash at £90 which would mean an outlay of just over £30 once funds back for Inverto.....just to keep her happy....or happier.

Her in question was using the Topfield when through the other day and sh said I miss using this machine!

No need for you to do any guessing my friend, check the polls and that is a far better indicator than me telling you obviously!

All in good time my friend, all in good time, perhaps on my next journey!

If you notice I have not been on the forum for some time, no need when been using the topfield. Does what it says on the tin for me.

I had reason to come on and ask some quesitons but still some go unanswered like I said due to Inverto defence mechanisms running on overdrive!

gogsboy - where can you get humax 9200 for £90????

i have an evesham, a humax 8000t (well 2 actually) and a relative has original 9200 which has updated ota to same firmware as current models.

i am trying to buy an inverto, just because it looks good and i'm interested in a topfield
does anyone have experience of inverto satellite recorders???

freesat going in soon as well.

Picked it up  from an ED warehouse, cancelled order or something along that lines, box was slightly tatty but contents inside spot on.

They seem to have them every so often, some I think are returns, I know they had some Topfields in the past to which were a good bit under market value.

I dont think the Inverto looks that good personally, well not the older black one, it looks ok but it feels flimsy and cheaply built, cant speak for the newer model as never paid great deal of attention to it.
